Well, we found out what shook the house. Shirleys (our neighbor - who also loves oaks) big oak came down. In the pictures you can see how it was rotting. It only got the front part of her garage and a bit on the neighbors, the damage could have been a lot worse. If it continues to split, it will land in our driveway (our house is on her left), and might hit the garage. I'm just kind of sad. I will miss looking at her oaks.

Geez! That is scary. Glad no one was hurt though!
So glad you are ok! We have been hearing the cracking across the street!
Thank goodness no was hurt! Such a scary thought...my parents are freaking out for the same reason afraid that one of the trees in the back yard is going to come crashing down on them. Yikes!
