Just some things

Saturday I took a fun trip to Whole Foods with my mom and niece Cassidy. First we stopped at Subway (sorry Jess we didn't support your store and got lunch in Tigard), then we went to Borders so Cassie could get a book. I did find the movie African Queen with Humphrey Boggart and Katherine Hepburn, but it was on Blue Ray and not DVD, so I didn't get it. I LOVE that movie, it was my grandpas favorite, and I've been looking for it wherever I go, but I will probably settle to getting it from Amazon one of these days.
We then headed over to Whole Foods, and I found some yummy donut holes (chocolate and some carrot cake ones). OH MY GOSH, Alicia Silverstone was on Oprah a while back talking about her book The Kind Diet (very good book), and she took a trip to Whole Foods on the show, and recommended these yummy "chicken" thingys, so I wrote them down, and scored on those at Whole Foods. After I ate them, I seriously went and looked several times to make sure they were vegan (even though I looked several times before buying them), because the vegan cheese tasted so much like regular cheese, I was scared I really just ate cheese. John even tasted it, and he said "that's pretty good". Yes, John seriously said that!
I also scored on some new Hugo soap, this time I got Pink Grapefruit.....it smells soooo good!

I also received (in the mail, cause I didn't go to the Lush store in Portland), some of my Veganese conditioner, which when I use now totally reminds me of Vegas since that was the first time I ever used it........
Sunday I took the pickle (thats what John calls the Babe) to the store to finish up the shopping, and found a super cute black summer dress for her. We then went to Lifesource (she sounds soooo cute when she says "liesource?" cause when she says something it sounds like shes phrasing it into a question), and she got to push the little cart around and grab all the food. She even put the food onto the belt. What a big girl.
Then we went to Britts birthday party. The highlight of that was seeing how totally cute her bedroom is. I wish I would have taken a picture of it, because it was that cute, and I'm not just saying that cause there were pictures of Edward and Jacob everywhere either.
Today I went in for an eye appt and got some new glasses. I can't wait till they come in, theyre super cute. My eyes have gotten way bad, so it's going to be nice to be able to see again. I hate the dialating of the eyes though.
Counting down to....April 15th.....and H coming home on the 19th!

"This fun"....says the Babe

Korissas new thing to say now is "this fun", (well, she also likes to say "what doin" and the ever popular "what's that"), so we had some "this fun" stuff this week. Wed. she wanted to ride in the wagon (she collected many pine cones on our wagon adventure), and then she wanted to blow some bubbles.

Letting me know she wanted to go for a wagon ride

She's been blessed with long lashes like her mommy....lucky!

Watching the squirrel eat some "nummies"

Seriously, how cute is this Babe!?

A dream

So, with my yesterday tax season talk, I think I jinxed my dreams last night. I had a dream that our client Jerry (who really did come in yesterday to sign his taxes) came in to sign his tax papers and he spilled something all over his pants. We for some reason had a dryer in our office (dreams are weird), and we put his pants in the dryer to dry. So, he goes and sits behind this desk, waiting for his pants. I go over to the desk and see he's just sitting there in his underwear and I say "Well, Jerry, that's not something you see everyday."

Ok, what the heck? Have fun interpreting that dream! And, it is going to be really weird when he comes in again, cause I saw him in his undies.....ok, thats just weird!

Tax Season

Ok, I'm soooo ready for it to be April 15th. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad to be working and stuff, but I think usually about this time it almost becomes unbearable. My mom isn't going crazy yet, which I guess is a good thing, but I am. Yesterday I had my yearly yelling from a client. She was seriously YELLING, SCREAMING at me on the phone, even called me a liar. I yelled back after she called me a liar, and then made her talk to my mom. Grrrr.
Then another really annoying client called. He is one of those really LOUD talkers that makes someone like me, who hates any kind of noise, just cringe inside. Well, he has this thing he does too, he clears his nose out or something, I don't know how to explain it. If you've seen Planes Trains and Autombiles, he does what the guy in the truck does when he picks up John Candy and Steve Martin. The guy with the pregnant wife that tells her to carry John Candys big brown luggage. Well, anyways thats the noise he makes. So, I'm talking yesterday on the phone to him, getting frustrated cause he just won't stop, and he does that noise on the phone. Usually if I see him do it, it is well, pretty freaky to witness, but over the phone it was funny. Soooo, it made me laugh inside, so that made it all better.
Today was non stop tax returns, and even though I have sworn off a ton of sugar, I'm gonna get me one of my big chocolate cookies from Lifesource, yummy!

Shopping yesterday

So yesterday I took Korissa shopping with me. We were at Walmart and headed over to the toy section, gotta spoil my grandbaby ya know, and we went through the bra section. Well, there of course are bras EVERYWHERE. So, Korissa says "mommies boobies" as we are passing through.....oh my....that was soooooo freakin funny. And no, I do not have a picture to add to this post....ha, ha.
