Earth

Well, today for Earth day we went and saw the movie Earth. It was pretty good, although I don't care much for slow motion scenes as an animal is being stalked by a predator, I know it's the whole circle of life thing, but I don't need to watch in slow mo....Overall it was very good though, beautiful scenes, funny moments, and of course baby polar bears are always a good thing to see.

There was a slight movie incident involving a young toddler, his mom and my mother, that wasn't very pleasant (lets put it this way, my mom will say whats on her mind, and NOT in a very nice way), but other than that it was a very good time.

Happy Earth Day!!!

The Babe & Grandpa Talk

When John gets home from work on Mondays, Korissa has to follow him around everywhere for a while. Yesterday I took her out to play in the little pool while he was doing his Bowflex workout. She had to go check on him several times, and I caught one of those times on video.....

Oh sunny days!

We have gotten a taste of summer the past few days. It's suppose to get up to 80 today. I dragged out the little purple plastic pool and already filled it with water for the Babe. She of course played a bit in it as I was filling it up, but it was a bit cold, well, not a bit...a lot cold. After she wakes up from her nap, it should be nice and warm.
I'm taking a break from Twilight, I finished New Moon, but wanted to finish reading the Dragonlance book that I was reading when I started the Twilight series. I am going crazy with reading again, which is very nice. When our Satellite contract expires in a couple of months, were not going to renew it, because we aren't watching it anyways. There's not much on tv lately anyways, it seems like you watch the same stuff over and over, but with different people. I'm soooo over Rock of Love and any future tours...lol. I will just enjoy my Buffy, Angel, Charmed and Will and Grace on DVD, oh ya, and of course The Brady Bunch.
I'm so glad that tax season is over with already. This week we get to look forward to seeing Earth at the movies on Wed for Earth Day. We're going to a morning show, and will close the office for a few hours so we can go watch it. I can't wait!

Faeries and a Peanut Butter Egg

Last Friday I got to watch all three of the kids, they were all so good. Kids are so cute, I just had to share a few of the things that happened.

The Players:

Me.....that's me
Adriana....that's her
Dominic....that's him

Faeries
Setting: walking back from the little corner store we came upon a yard that had tall grass, clover and baby daisies in it. There was still dew on the ground.....

Dominic: "Those people need to cut their grass."
Me: "They sure do, but I bet a bunch of faeries live in there."
Dominic: "Uh-huh."
Adriana: "Oh look, that flower is sparkley, I bet a faery lives there."
Adriana picked the flower and took it home, she was very careful with it, although Korissa ended up destroying it later.

Peanut Butter Eggs

Same players
Setting: Me and Adriana in the kitchen, Dominic is in the living room watching Shrek...

Me: "Do you guys want a peanut butter egg?"
Adriana: "Ummm...no."
Dominic: "I'll try one."
Me: "Incoming." (that's me tossing him one cause he was on the couch)
Dominic: "TAMMY (yes, he yelled my name in his excitement) these are soooo good. They are chocolate and peanut butter."
Adriana: "I guess I want to try one since it's chocolate. I didn't want a real egg and peanut butter."
Me: "You thought I was talking about making you an egg and putting peanut butter on it."
Adriana: "Yes."
Me: "Yuck."

Kids are soooo cute!

Procrastinating and stuff

Well, I should be working right now, but I am avoiding what I'm suppose to be doing. I'm working on a years worth of data entry from a client, it's so unorganized, has two seperate accounts, and is just a mess. I've really been avoiding it all day, but am running out of excuses not do it, so am blogging as my last resort...lol.
I'm looking forward to this weekend, birthday party and Easter. This weekend I will stuff a ton of plastic eggs for hunting.
I've started the second book in the Twilight series, wow, I don't know why it took me so long to start reading these books. Last night I did have a vampire dream though, it wasn't a sexy hot vampire dream though, it was freaky and scared the crap out of me. One of those kinds of dreams that wakes you up and your disoriented for a few minutes. It was really scarey. I finally convinced John to watch the movie with me, and he did like it.
We just finished season 4 of Charmed, which is so far my favorite in the series. I am very happy that Rose McGowen is in it, as I have always been a big fan.
I'm bummed that the sun is already gone though. I'm watching all three kids this Friday, and I was hoping it was going to be nice. Maybe it won't rain too badly, so the kids can scooter their brains out.
Well, procrasted enough already.
