Jack's Birthday Barbecue

Nothing beats a Jack Evans barbecue.........
I'm so lucky to have this man in my life!

Yep, had to add a spider!

Ethan's drawing.

Korissa loves to draw!

We think they were looking at a map they drew.

David chasing Rissa to tickle her.

Me and my beautiful daughter

This was the picture I cropped cause Korissa had her finger in her nose, but it's a lovely picture!

This pose of Korissas.....ha ha!

Visiting Lacey

Lacey moved back to Portland, so I made a Ptown visit to see her. I picked her up, then we went to Towne Center. She has been going to church again, and she just got a new Bible from her friend Ryan, so she's been doing her own Bible studies too. She said she is focusing on her relationship with God, so I wanted to buy her a book I had read years ago called Captivating: Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul by Staci Eldredge. I thought she would really like it, she was excited about it, and I also got her the journal to go along with it. I'm so proud of her, and am excited to see where this new journey takes her. After the mall, we decided to go to Old Chicago to eat....O' my heck, they have the BEST food. It was one of our places we used to go, and the last time I visited, they weren't open yet, and we were hungry and didn't want to wait....so, we passed. Not this time. Plus, we decided to try some Deep Fried Pickles. They were DELISH!!! After filling up on food and pickles, we then headed to Walmart for some Makeup and then decided to stop at a park to swing. Lacey swings way higher than I care to go....but I love to swing. After our arms got sore...lol....we decided to try and find Moonshadow on Belmont (it's where I like to get my incense), but as usual, I got lost and ended up on the wrong side of the road, against the flow of traffic. After panicking, I got lost in a neighborhood, but the houses were nice to look at. We were close to her place and after finding my way out, I took her home.

Silver Creek Falls with Jess

Jess and I decided to take a girls trip to Silver Creek Falls. We had such a good time. It was nice because when we got there, not too many people were there. It was a bit chilly with the wind, but it was sunny!

Me, Rissa and her walking stick!

Jess had Korissa pose for a picture, and I snapped this one after her pose!

Korissa was rock collecting.

Rock and Stick smiley :)

Korissa's rock pile.

Wind!

Our flop picture, of course Korissa has her flop on the wrong feet!

Jess had to carry Korissa for a bit cause she was a little afraid of the heights!

In the cave under the falls.

Jess walking super slow down the muddy path, her flop broke so she had to go slow.

At the bottom!
