Skinny Shorts

So, I haven't had any sugar in weeks. I think Monday I will be going on week three. I don't even miss it this time. Seriously, when I make my mind up about something, I can do anything! I've also been working out almost every night. Today I went to Old Navy and bought myself some "skinny" shorts. I know youre probably saying "Oh no you didnt". But my friends, "Oh yes I did". They are going to be my motivation.

Last Week

Last week, we welcomed Heather home, Saturday Jess and I went to the park for picture taking, and Sunday was Jacks retirement party. Man, I didn't realize how many pictures I had on my camera until I loaded them on the computer today. I put a lot on here, so be prepared for a lot of picture viewing.......as usual.

A Tulip and an Ice Cream Babe

There was a lone tulip underneath my oak tree this spring. Surpisingly it lasted long enough for me take some pictures on different days. Tulips don't usually last long in my backyard because Noah likes to tear them to pieces......

Korissa gets ice cream to eat with grandpa when she comes for her visits, but I decided to give her a cone a few weeks back instead of the usual in the bowl with syrup on top (thats how grandpa eats his). She was pretty excited about it too.

Stress relief

So, I'm doing a few things to release or rid myself of stress......

• No eating sugar (that starts tomorrow), seriously it's bad, bad, bad
• Working out with the Biggest Loser (Boot Camp and Yoga for weight loss), my buns hurt
• Writing
• Reading
• Listening to country music. Why is it that when you listen to country, you just sing a long, even if you don't know the words?

Things I wish I could do to release or rid myself of stress......

• Take a hammer and smash the freakin phone at work cause I'm sooooo tired of listening to it
• Tell clients what I really think of them when they whine about their bill
• or when they were hoping to get back a 6000 dollar refund and instead are ONLY getting back 5000
• Wear a tshirt that says I HATE TAXES and on the back says AND PEOPLE TOO
• Take a vacation to a really sunny place (but not too hot), just a place with no rain for at least a week
• Go see Clash of the Titans AGAIN, cause dang, Sam Worthington is nice to look at
