Visiting Lacey

Lacey moved back to Portland, so I made a Ptown visit to see her. I picked her up, then we went to Towne Center. She has been going to church again, and she just got a new Bible from her friend Ryan, so she's been doing her own Bible studies too. She said she is focusing on her relationship with God, so I wanted to buy her a book I had read years ago called Captivating: Unveiling the Mystery of a Woman's Soul by Staci Eldredge. I thought she would really like it, she was excited about it, and I also got her the journal to go along with it. I'm so proud of her, and am excited to see where this new journey takes her. After the mall, we decided to go to Old Chicago to eat....O' my heck, they have the BEST food. It was one of our places we used to go, and the last time I visited, they weren't open yet, and we were hungry and didn't want to wait....so, we passed. Not this time. Plus, we decided to try some Deep Fried Pickles. They were DELISH!!! After filling up on food and pickles, we then headed to Walmart for some Makeup and then decided to stop at a park to swing. Lacey swings way higher than I care to go....but I love to swing. After our arms got sore...lol....we decided to try and find Moonshadow on Belmont (it's where I like to get my incense), but as usual, I got lost and ended up on the wrong side of the road, against the flow of traffic. After panicking, I got lost in a neighborhood, but the houses were nice to look at. We were close to her place and after finding my way out, I took her home.
Lacey being a dork at Old Chicago!
