One of my favorite things

I have searched for years and years for an eyeshadow base that actually works. I am so in love with Urban Decays primer. I had heard of Urban Decay a lot on different sites, and what I really liked about the company was it is cruelty free. I didn't want to order makeup online, so I never tried anything from them before, until I found that Ulta carried their line. I love how they package their cosmetics too, so that's a bonus, but when I tried the eyeshadow primer, O MY HECK!!!! It actually works. Seriously, I have tried everthing. The closest I found that worked was by MAC, but even that didn't hold out all day. I have always had super oily skin, and I hate wearing eyeshadow because after only 2 hours I get that crease and it just ruins the whole look, so I pretty much gave up on wearing any. This Urban Decay stuff lasts ALL day, literally, when I wash my face off at night, not one crease! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this....

Random Backyard

A random message to H

So, I was messaging Heather on Facebook, and it's usually just a bunch of random stuff, and as I'm typing, I realize how much crazier it seems when you actually write it out. The following is what I wrote her, and I seem a little crazed, and Jennifer seems like a horder......


I haven't had my period in like 2 months and have had PMS anyways, which sucks cause I just want to start to get rid of it. I feel like a fatty, and crave chocolate like mad. Yesterday I was here at the office by myself and wanted some candy, so I secretly dug through jens drawers and cupboards, and this is what I find: a WHOLE twix bar, a half a almond hershey bar, a bag of choc covered cherries, one peanut m&m, and a bag of these yummy rice treats we get from wholefoods (unopened, when I saw that I said aloud "how does she still have these" cause we got them like 3 weeks ago), well, I didn't want to eat the twix cause she would notice it, and there was only 1 m&m so I couldn't hide that, and she'd probably notice the hershey bar, so I had like 3 choc covered cherries, but they were gross cause the chocolate is weird....lol. It was funny. I told her about it this morning and shes like, did you see the licorice back there too? NO, I DID NOT, dangit!

Breakdown and Boredom

After leaving Enchanted Forest, I went to turn the 4 Runner and heard a noise, and then I couldn't turn the vehicle. Turns out the steering belt fell off right before I was about to get onto the freeway. I had to call a tow truck. After we got home, we headed out in White Boy to finish the rest of our day, which was basically like taking the kids school clothes shopping, cause Lacey had to try on everything....ha, ha.

Enchanted Forest

I decided to take Lacey on a surprise outing to Enchanted Forest yesterday, she had never been there before. Yes, it's geared towards kids, but adults can be kids at heart. We had a blast....the log ride was awesome!
